How do you help a friend that is losing faith in them self and in God ?
As I’m on the phone with one of my good friends (My PNC) she is crying because someone passed away in her family that raised her when her mother was in a jail institution. Something like her God Mother. I felt for her and I was sad I couldn’t just be on my way because I didn’t have any transportation. She kept asking me to come over and lay with her and I wasn’t able to but we did have a heart to heart.
After we talked about her lost something told me to ask where her significant other was because if I couldn’t be there then he should be. I would have thought he would have known before me but she hasn’t even told him yet.
Now we are getting to the real deep down reason why there is more tears in her heart. The man she loves is with a different woman right now and he hasn’t been sleeping at home lately. On top of downing her every chance he gets and making her feel worthless.
She shared with me that she has a lot going for her self and trying to get her GED but can’t pass the math part so I offered to help. I am great at math and I want to see her successful. That one thing she is failing at is making her feel maybe she isn’t good enough or isn’t nothing more then the whore he calls her. Everything he says negative about her she is starting to believe it more and more.
While we talk I am trying to help her not lose it. Giving her advice and reminding her that she is a good person. Also reminding her that God n get gives up on her and she really needs to speak with him the correct way.
When I say correct way
I mean asking God for what you need not want with some guidance during your journey. She understood it but still is having a hard time not losing her faith in her self and in God.
What would you do if you were me ? What type of advice do you give your Female friend to encourage her that her man isn’t good for her ? Also that God will never leave you and give you on you? What examples to give her to back up my advice, facts and opinions.
